Spider-Man from Earth-138, one of Marvel's many alternate universes. Hobart Brown, a homeless individual, is bitten by a spider irradiated by toxic waste dumped by President Norman Osborn. He becomes Spider-Man, characterized by a punk-rock look and the use of an electric guitar in battle. He opposes Norman Osborn and his V.E.N.O.M. troops.
